We exchanged marriage vows on May 23, 2009! We are so grateful to our family and friends for supporting us, celebrating with us, and making our wedding day such a joyous time.

The ceremony was held outdoors on the back lawn of Tom and Joanne Kee’s home. Lunch was catered by Urban BBQ, followed by cupcakes, lawn games, and other merriment.

Thank you to all who helped take photos of our celebration– we had over 2000 photos to choose from! A special thanks to Peter, Tim, Tom, Eric, and Mary for capturing all the special moments for us.

What’s the story behind the location?

Tom and Joanne’s home is a special place to us. We’ve been blessed by their gift of hospitality: opening their home up for potlucks, birthdays, Christmas parties, Bible studies, worship team practices… etc! Our DTR (determining the relationship) talk happened in Tom and Joanne’s living room!

After our engagement, we told Tom and Joanne that we were thinking about having our wedding outdoors, and they graciously offered their home to us. The Kees have been an important part of our relationship, and we thank the Lord for their love and hospitality, the way they have used their home to bless others, and their wise counsel to us as we journey into marriage.
